Floatdex is a platform that allows users to create, save, and use AI workflows, prompts, presets, reference images, and generated images.

3. Why do we use your data?

- To enable login, including Google login through Supabase
- To provide AI workflows, prompts, presets, and image generation features
- To store and display your workflows, uploads, and generated images
- To manage credits and usage limits
- To analyze reference images and presets
- To respond to support, contact, or privacy requests
- To improve, secure, and maintain Floatdex
- To prevent abuse, fraud, excessive API usage, or unexpected costs
- To comply with legal obligations
4. Legal bases for processing
We process personal data based on one or more of the following legal bases:
- Performance of a contract, when processing is necessary to provide Floatdex to you
- Legitimate interests, such as security, debugging, abuse prevention, service improvement, and cost protection
- Consent, where legally required, for example for certain cookies or optional communications
- Legal obligation, where we are required to process or retain certain data by law
5. AI processing
Floatdex uses external AI services to provide certain features. When you use an AI feature, your prompt, reference image, preset, or other input may be sent to an external AI provider to generate or analyze the requested result.
We may use, now or in the future:
- Google / Gemini / Nano Banana, for image generation and image analysis
- Anthropic, for prompt editing or prompt generation features, if available
- OpenAI / ChatGPT API, for AI features, if available or added in the future
The input and output processed by these services may include prompts, descriptions, reference images, metadata, and generated content.
You should not upload or enter sensitive personal data, confidential documents, medical information, financial information, or personal data of third parties unless you have the right and permission to do so.
6. Uploads, prompts, and generated content
You are responsible for the content you upload, enter, or generate through Floatdex.
You must not upload or enter content for which you do not have the necessary rights or permissions. This includes images of other people, brands, logos, designs, or copyrighted material.
Floatdex may store your prompts, workflows, uploads, presets, and generated images so you can view, reuse, or edit them later.
7. Credits, beta access, and usage limits
Floatdex is currently available as a closed beta. During the beta, users may receive free credits to test the service. Floatdex may introduce paid features, subscriptions, or credit bundles in the future.
We process credit and usage data to:
- Show your credit balance
- Enforce usage limits
- Prevent abuse or unexpected API costs
- Investigate technical issues
- Understand how the service is used
Examples of data we may store for this purpose include action type, credits used, provider used, request status, and timestamp.
8. Cookies and similar technologies
Floatdex uses cookies and similar technologies that are necessary for:
- Login and session management
- Security
- Remembering user settings
- Technical operation of the website
If we use analytics or marketing cookies in the future where consent is required, we will ask for consent where required by law.
9. Who do we share data with?
We do not sell your personal data.
We may share data with service providers that are necessary to operate Floatdex, including:
- Vercel, for hosting and deployment
- Supabase, for database, authentication, and storage
- Google / Gemini / Nano Banana, for AI image generation and image analysis
- Anthropic, for AI prompt features, if used
- OpenAI, for AI features, if used
- Email or support providers, if needed for communication
These providers process data only as needed to provide their services to us.
10. International data transfers
Our service providers may process data inside and outside the European Economic Area. Where required, we rely on appropriate safeguards, such as contractual arrangements or standard contractual clauses.
11. How long do we keep your data?
We do not keep personal data longer than necessary for the purposes for which it was collected.
In general:
- Account data is kept while your account is active
- Workflows, uploads, and generated images are kept while they remain in your account or as needed to provide the service
- Credit and usage logs are kept as needed for security, debugging, administration, and abuse prevention
- Support requests are kept as long as needed to handle your request and for reasonable administrative follow-up
- Data we are legally required to keep is retained for the legally required period

12. Security
We take appropriate technical and organizational measures to protect your data against loss, misuse, unauthorized access, and unwanted disclosure.
No online service is completely risk-free. You should avoid entering sensitive or confidential information in prompts or uploads unless necessary.
13. Your rights
Depending on your location and situation, you may have the right to:
- Access your personal data
- Correct inaccurate data
- Request deletion of your data
- Object to certain processing
- Restrict certain processing
- Receive a copy of your data
- Withdraw consent, where processing is based on consent

If you are located in the European Union or the Netherlands, you may also have the right to lodge a complaint with the Dutch Data Protection Authority, the Autoriteit Persoonsgegevens.
14. Children
Floatdex is not intended for children under the age of 16 without permission from a parent or legal guardian. If you believe we process data from a child without valid permission, please contact us at privacy@floatdex.com.
15. Changes to this Privacy Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy when Floatdex changes, for example when we add new features, AI providers, paid features, or when legal requirements change.
