Welcome to Floatdex. These Terms & Conditions explain the rules for using Floatdex. By accessing or using Floatdex, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, you should not use the service.
Floatdex is an AI workflow platform that allows users to create, save, reuse, and manage prompts, presets, reference images, generated images, and creative AI workflows.
1. Who operates Floatdex?

2. Access to Floatdex
Floatdex is currently available as a closed beta. Access may be limited, invite-only, or subject to availability.
We may update, change, suspend, or discontinue parts of the service at any time, especially during the beta period.
We may introduce paid features, subscriptions, credit bundles, or other commercial plans in the future. If we do, any payment terms will be made available before you purchase or subscribe.
3. Accounts
To use certain parts of Floatdex, you may need to create an account or log in using a supported authentication method, such as email/password or Google login through Supabase.
You are responsible for:
- keeping your login details secure
- all activity that happens under your account
- providing accurate account information
- notifying us if you suspect unauthorized access
We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms, misuse the service, or create security or legal risks.
4. Beta credits and usage limits
During the closed beta, users may receive free beta credits. Credits may be used for features such as image generation, image analysis, or other AI-powered actions.
Beta credits:
- may be limited
- may be changed or removed during the beta
- have no cash value
- cannot be transferred
- may not be exchanged for money
- may be subject to usage limits or rate limits
Floatdex may limit or block usage if we detect abuse, excessive activity, automated requests, or behavior that creates technical, security, or cost risks.
5. User content
You may upload, enter, create, or save content through Floatdex, including:
- prompts
- workflow titles and descriptions
- presets
- reference images
- generated images
- library images
- reports or support messages
You are responsible for the content you provide and for making sure you have the rights and permissions needed to use it.
You must not upload, enter, or generate content that:
- infringes intellectual property rights
- violates privacy or publicity rights
- contains unlawful, harmful, abusive, or misleading material
- contains confidential information you are not allowed to share
- contains personal data of others without permission
- violates applicable laws or third-party rights
6. AI-generated output
Floatdex may use external AI services to generate or analyze content. AI-generated results may be inaccurate, unexpected, incomplete, or unsuitable for your intended use.
You are responsible for reviewing and deciding whether generated output is appropriate before using it, publishing it, or relying on it.
Floatdex does not guarantee that:
- AI output will be accurate
- AI output will be unique
- AI output will be free of third-party rights
- AI output will meet your expectations
- AI output will be suitable for commercial use
You should not use Floatdex to generate or process sensitive personal data, confidential documents, medical information, financial information, or content involving third parties unless you have the right and permission to do so.
7. Ownership and license
You retain any rights you have in the content you upload or create.
By using Floatdex, you grant us a limited license to host, store, process, display, and transmit your content as needed to provide and improve the service. This includes processing your prompts, uploads, and references through third-party AI providers when you use AI-powered features.
If you publish or share a workflow publicly within Floatdex, you understand that other users may view, use, save, or reuse it depending on the features available.
8. Floatdex intellectual property
Floatdex, including its design, branding, software, interface, workflows, systems, and platform features, is owned by Floatdex or its licensors.
You may not copy, reverse engineer, resell, redistribute, or misuse Floatdex or its underlying software except as allowed by the service.
9. Acceptable use
You agree not to:
- use Floatdex for unlawful purposes
- attempt to access accounts, systems, or data without permission
- interfere with the security or operation of the service
- bypass rate limits, credit limits, or access restrictions
- scrape, crawl, or automate the service without permission
- upload malicious code or harmful files
- impersonate another person or misrepresent your identity
- use Floatdex in a way that harms other users, Floatdex, or third parties
We may investigate and take action if we believe these rules are violated.
10. Third-party services
Floatdex relies on third-party providers to operate the service, including providers for hosting, database, authentication, storage, and AI processing.
These may include:
- Vercel
- Supabase
- Google / Gemini / Nano Banana
- Anthropic
- OpenAI / ChatGPT API, if used or added in the future
- email or support providers, if needed
Third-party services may have their own terms and policies. Floatdex is not responsible for third-party services outside our control.
11. Availability and changes
Floatdex is provided during beta on an evolving basis. Features may change, break, be removed, or become unavailable.
We do not guarantee that the service will always be available, uninterrupted, secure, or error-free.
We may modify, suspend, or discontinue any part of Floatdex at any time.
12. No professional advice
Floatdex is a creative and productivity tool. It does not provide legal, financial, medical, or other professional advice.
You are responsible for how you use the service and any output generated through it.
13. Disclaimer of warranties
Floatdex is provided “as is” and “as available.”
To the maximum extent permitted by law, we make no warranties or representations about:
- the accuracy or reliability of the service
- the quality or suitability of generated content
- uninterrupted or error-free operation
- compatibility with your specific needs
- availability of any feature during or after beta
14. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Floatdex and Roger Acton will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including loss of profits, data, content, business, goodwill, or opportunities.
Nothing in these Terms limits liability where it cannot legally be limited.
15. Indemnity
You agree to hold Floatdex harmless from claims, damages, losses, liabilities, and expenses arising from:
- your use of the service
- your content
- your violation of these Terms
- your violation of laws or third-party rights
16. Termination
You may stop using Floatdex at any time.
We may suspend or terminate your access if:
- you violate these Terms
- your use creates risk for Floatdex, other users, or third parties
- we are required to do so by law
- the beta ends or the service changes
After termination, some data may be retained where necessary for legal, security, administrative, or legitimate business purposes.
17. Privacy
Our Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, and protect personal data.
18. Changes to these Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. When we make changes, we will update the “Last updated” date on this page.
If changes are material, we may provide additional notice where appropriate.
Your continued use of Floatdex after changes take effect means you accept the updated Terms.
19. Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the Netherlands, unless mandatory consumer protection laws in your country require otherwise.
